The Esh Family, from the town of Hatville in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, has been growing and producing quality foods for more than 40 years. In the early 1980s, they opened Hatville Deli at the Reading Terminal in order to meet the growing demands of travelers, conventioneers, and the local community. And today, now in their second generation of family ownership, they are one of the busiest lunch spots in the market. Sit at the counter and order one of their famous, Amish-style sandwiches—like sweet Lebanon bologna with smoked Cheddar or the Corned Beef Special with coleslaw and Russian dressing. Then head to the other side of the stand, where you’ll find an impressive selection of farm-fresh deli meats, bacon, scrapple, beef jerky, butter, and cheeses, all cut or sliced to order, so you can enjoy Hatville’s delicious products in the comfort of your own home.
