Store Description: Prominently located on Center Court between The Flying Monkey Bakery & Tambayan, an approximately 250 sq ft location beautifully built out with white oak hardwood shelves and glass walls. The store is open to the public through 7th Avenue, and a full glass wall so customers walking 8th Avenue can see inside the store. At the front of the store, two brand new Marchia MH 36” curved glass heated displays and a CARNE3 dry aging display are currently located. Within the service area, there is a 4.5ft long butcher block counter, hand sink, three bay sink, drying wire shelving, and plenty of storage under the counter. The counter is featured with a 3ft long glassy sneeze guard. Around the store, there are 10 electrical receptacles providing 110V power and 1 receptacle 220 volt. Opposite of the counter, there is a Federal Industries ERSSHP678SC-5 Elements Black High Profile Air Curtain providing a 35.4 cu. ft cold store capacity. Further cold display storage is provided by a brand-new black Marchia MBT60” straight glass refrigerated bakery display case. The store is also equipped with three brand-new TV displays with HDMI and wifi capabilities. Please note there is no access to the kitchen hood/exhaust system in this location. Equipment is being offered by the prior tenants, RTMC does not warranty any of the FF&E or store build-out.
Location will be available to an approved merchant with or without equipment. Reading Terminal Market is especially interested in expanding our global/ethnic groceries, spices, produce and dry goods, although other concepts will be considered. RTMC would consider a mix of prepared foods and “pantry items”. Non-food concepts will be considered however please note that souvenirs, t-shirts, etc. will not likely be approved at this time. Prospective merchants should familiarize themselves with current Market offerings before submitting a proposal as we seek a diversity of product offerings. No franchises will be accepted. Our focus is on the owner/operator of small businesses.
