Klancy Miller is a celebrated chef, writer, and author known for blending culinary artistry with
storytelling. A graduate of Columbia University and Le Cordon Bleu Paris, Miller has worked in
prestigious kitchens and contributed to numerous publications, including Bon Appétit and The
New York Times. She is the author of Cooking Solo: The Fun of Cooking for Yourself, a heartfelt
cookbook that celebrates the joys of solo dining. Miller is also the founder of For the Culture, a
magazine dedicated to celebrating Black women in food and wine, further establishing her voice
as a champion of diversity in the culinary world.

S.A. Cosby is an award-winning American crime fiction author acclaimed for his gritty,
character-driven thrillers. Known for novels like Blacktop Wasteland, Razorblade Tears, and All
the Sinners Bleed, Cosby blends Southern noir with themes of race, redemption, and identity.
His work has earned honors including the Anthony, Barry, and Macavity Awards, and
widespread praise for revitalizing contemporary crime fiction with emotional depth and relentless
storytelling.

About Harriett’s Bookshop

Jeannine Cook is the owner of Harriett’s Bookshop in Fishtown, Philadelphia, a vibrant, Black woman-owned bookstore named in honor of Harriet Tubman. An artist, writer, and community activist, Cook founded the shop to celebrate women authors, artists, and activists. Through Harriett’s, she fosters a space for empowerment, conversation, and social change, championing literature as a tool for resistance and healing.
