“Artisan Alley” – Reading Terminal Market’s Day Stall program prioritizes providing micro-businesses and independent entrepreneurs the opportunity to temporarily operate in one of Philadelphia’s most beloved and visited destinations.

All applications are welcome. Reading Terminal Market is especially interested in expanding our global/ethnic groceries, spices, produce and dry goods, although other concepts such as jewelry, crafts, clothing, personal services and other non-food items will be considered for this opportunity.

Reading Terminal Market will formally re-introduce our Day Stall program in early 2027 and will begin recruitment for this program in December of 2026.

Submitting an application is the first step in a multi-step process, and is not a guarantee that you will be offered use of a day stall. Final approval must come from the RTMC Management team. If selected to participate, you receive a 3-month contract to operate for 6 days per week.

Leasing

After an application is submitted, RTMC will contact applicants that meet the needs for the space available. Applications that do not meet the needs will be kept on file for one year for consideration for future vacancies. This application and supporting documents will not be returned to the applicant.
