Kismet Bialys owners, Alex and Jacob Cohen, are known for their pandemic-born pop-up turned city-wide sensation, Kismet Bagels. The bialy shop sells Polish bread rolls stuffed with sweet and savory ingredient combinations that are only available at Reading Terminal Market. Traditional bialys are topped with onion, salt, and poppy seeds. Kismet offers this staple along with bacon, egg and cheese bialys, za’atar dipped bialys with a runny egg and zhug sauce drizzle, Buffalo Chicken, Lox ‘n Schmear and more plus something for everyone with a sweet tooth including S’more bialys in addition to a rotation of seasonal and Holiday options. Kismet bialys are baked fresh on-site at Reading Terminal Market. Four packs of bagels and tubs of schmear are also available for purchase. The Cohens pride themselves on producing a top-tier product using quality ingredients, smothered with toppings to ensure customers get a burst of flavor in every bite.
