Join us for a family-friendly, pay-as-you-go, indoor festival featuring small-bites of scrapple & apple inspired creations from our merchants, in addition to all your market favorites.

Scrapple Sculpting Contest | Thursday, Oct. 10 at 11am | Arch Court
Attention Sculptors, Artists & Scrapple Lovers – sign up to compete in our 1st ever Scrapple Sculpting Contest. Thursday, October 10 at 11am, Reading Terminal Market.
One winner will be selected on Saturday, October 12 following our Scrapple & Apple Festival. All contestants receive a free Festival T-shirt. This competition will be judged by a local sculptor and artist and by popular public vote.
Prize: Scrapple Trophy, Reading Terminal Market Swag Bag, and $100 Market Gift Card
No entry fee or purchase required. Contestants must arrive at Reading Terminal Market no later than 10:30am. Must be 18 years of age or older. Open to accomplished artists and beginners. Winner will be notified by email and need not be present to win. All contestants receive a free Scrapple & apple Festival T-shirt. RTM will supply a 5lb block of scrapple and sculpting tools.

Activities 10am to 4pm
- “Apple Tree” (Kid’s Craft)
- Decorate an apple cutout and place it on the “Apple Tree”
- “Pig Pen” (Kid’s Craft)
- Name a pig cutout and place it in the “Pig Pen”
- Bob for Apples (Kid’s Game)
- Use a net to scoop a plastic bobbing apple out of a water barrel
- Golden Apple Treasure Hunt
- Explore the market to locate 12 Golden Apples hidden at merchant stands
- 1 winner will be selected on 10/12 after the event to Win a $50 RTM Gift Card and Festival T-shirt
