Whether you recall your childhood train set or want to introduce your own little ones to a new, magical holiday season tradition, the Reading Terminal Holiday Railroad will be one you and your family will long remember. Featuring ten working train lines running through a wonderland of bustling cities, towns, and snow-covered countryside, children of all ages will be delighted by the sights, sounds and animated action of this 500 square foot display with nearly a third of a mile of train tracks!
Before or after taking in the holiday railroad, be sure to visit the Reading Terminal Market for a bite to eat, something sweet, and a little holiday shopping for your home and dinner table.

Every Wednesday & Saturday Learn the story behind cheese steaks, hoagies, pretzels and other Philly food favorites, and the 114-year history of the vibrant Reading Terminal Market where they’re sold during this 75-minute, food-writer-led walking tour.
The tour leaves from the Market information desk at 12th and Filbert streets in the heart of downtown Philadelphia at 10 a.m. every Wednesday and Saturday. Reservations Required.
Cost is $14.95 for adults and $8.95 for children ages 7 to 11. Private tours also available.
