We are thrilled to announce that Umi Seafood and Sushi is now open, offering more than 50 prepared seafood items and over 100 varieties of premium sushi, sashimi, and maki.
Umi Seafood and Sushi Bar is a collaboration between renowned chef Yong Kim, of the Bluefin family of restaurants, and seafood maven Suzi Kim of John Yi Fish Market, Under the C Seafood and Ardmore Seafood. Yong and Suzi met several years ago at his Bluefin restaurant and the two immediately bonded over their passion for providing Philadelphians with the highest quality seafood. Suzi approached Yong to develop this joint venture that would showcase their shared passion and bring it to the masses. The concept combines Yong Kim’s 20 years of restaurant experience with Suzi Kim’s nearly 40 years as one of the premier providers of fresh seafood to the greater Philadelphia region.
Umi is located at Avenue B and 9th Avenue inside the Market.
