The Market will be closed on Christmas Day, so please be sure to pick up all of your supplies before then. Please keep in mind that some Merchants may choose to close early on Christmas Eve, so please make plans accordingly.
Winter Arts & Crafts Festival
We are thrilled to introduce our new Winter Holiday Arts and Crafts Festival, a series of family-friendly activities and performances that will take place every weekend between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve. Activities and performances are free and open to the public.
Saturday, December 8th
– 12-4pm, Piano Court – Block printing holiday cards with Fleisher Art Memorial
– 12-2pm, Center Court – Klezadelphia performs Klezmer music
Sunday, December 9th
– 12-3pm, Piano Court – Help Mural Arts paint the new Reading Terminal Market mural
-Tour the SEPTA Holiday Buses parked outside on Filbert St., decorated for the holiday season
Saturday, December 15th
– 11:30am-12:30pm, City Kitchen – Latke demo with Hershel’s East Side Deli
– 12-2pm, Center Court – Psalms Vocal 5 performs Christmas music
– 12-4pm, Piano Court – DIY snow globe-making with Fleisher Art Memorial
Sunday, December 16th
– 12-3pm, Piano Court – Help Mural Arts paint the new Reading Terminal Market mural
Saturday, December 22nd- Santa Visits the Market!
– 12-4pm, Piano Court – Take your photo with Santa and enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides around the Market (leaves from Arch St.)
Sunday, December 23rd
– 12-2:30pm, Center Court – Galena Brass will perform
Saturday, December 29
– 11am-2pm – Enjoy Mummer Day with performances, a cooking demo, and arts and crafts
