Philadelphia Corporation for Aging Produce Voucher Distribution
On Wednesday, July 15th at 10am, Philadelphia Corporation for Aging will be distributing produce vouchers to eligible Philadelphia residents. The line will begin forming at 8am, and distribution will continue until supply runs out. Vouchers will also be distributed on Wednesday, July 22nd. Limit one set of vouchers per person. The Second City, comedy birthplace of Steve Carell, Bill Murray, Mike Myers, John Belushi, Tina Fey, and countless others, brings its legendary comedy genius to Philadelphia with The City of Nutterly Love: Funny as Bell, an all-new revue that?s sure to ring (crack?) your bell. The Chicago-based masters of improv comedy give Philly a hilarious once-over, Second City-style! The Second City’s chief export is comedy that is at once hilarious and thought-provoking, smart and silly, sophisticated and wild. Brought to you by the Philadelphia Theatre Company, the Chicago-based masters of sketch and improv comedy have partnered with Philadelphia’s funniest actors in a show reflecting Philadelphia in all its diversity, complexity, and hilarity. The revue will feature Philadelphia-centric sketch comedy, songs, and improvisation.

Every Wednesday & Saturday Learn the story behind cheese steaks, hoagies, pretzels and other Philly food favorites, and the 114-year history of the vibrant Reading Terminal Market where they’re sold during this 75-minute, food-writer-led walking tour.

The tour leaves from the Market information desk at 12th and Filbert streets in the heart of downtown Philadelphia at 10 a.m. every Wednesday and Saturday. Reservations Required.

Cost is $15.95 for adults and $8.95 for children ages 7 to 11. Private tours also available.
